Andrea Barchiesi
Andrea
Barchiesi was born in 1988. His passion for music became apparent since he was
very young.
First of all, he learned playing keyboards, then electric guitar, and finally
he began his career of singer.
He initially tried to improve his style on Iron Maiden and Helloween songs,
then he began composing songs of
his own.
During year 2003 he founds his first band, a three-member hard rock group,
called "Brainstorming"; at that period, songs were entirely written
by Andrea, who also played guitar and lead vocals in the same time.
At the end of 2003 he put together a five-member power metal group, called
"Other World", where Andrea was the lead singer, played rhythm
guitar, and wrote almost all songs.
In three-years of activities, this group participated in several important
events and contests, and achieved some excellent results, winning the
"Emergenza contest” at the regional level and taking part to the
national semi-finals.
In 2006 he
has sung in another group of his own, called "Time Out", playing
hard rock music. This band participated in the "Sanremo Rock"
national contest, scoring the seventh place at the national final.
At the beginning of 2008 he joined Ground Control band, after passing a couple
of careful auditions.
